Happy New Year from the NP.

Happy New Year everyone,

I hope the holiday celebration finds everyone safe and happy.  I am back at the North Pole after my excursion to Kansas City, MO.  I am still trying to recover from the fun, but the rest is short-lived.  It is going to be one heck of a party up here tonight.  The elves really know how to throw a bash!

Word to the wise -- Please don't drink and operate a vehicle.  We had a heck of time fixing Santa's sleigh last year after Zeke decided it would be a great idea to take it for a spin after midnight.  Zeke is still on Santa's shit-list!

Oh what a night!!

Hello everyone,

Holy smokes!  What a great night I had last night.  I had an wonderful time in Kansas City and got to hang out with an incredible doll of a girl. Everything started out right checking-in to the Truman/Presidential Suite, thanks to my wonderful friends at the Marriott.  Veronica showed up at 3:30 and the good times began.  We had some cocktails in the room and went to the Phoenix to see Lonnie McFadden (that man can sing and dance something fierce).  Next, we went to the Drunken Fish for some great sushi.  After dinner we went back to the room, where I serenaded Veronica at the piano in my suite. Things got a little carried away after that.  It seems that both Veronica and I lose inhibition quickly after a few drinks.  I woke with a very fuzzy memory and quite a headache.  Apparently I did ok, because I now have a date for my upcoming trip to Thailand.  My memory is also returning with help from Nikon.

Great time?.... You be the judge.

It is official!

Hello everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well as the new year approaches.  With Christmas behind me, and some free time in front, I have a date for Friday night.  Her name is Veronica, and she is a real looker!  I think we are going to have a lot of fun.  I am meeting her in downtown Kansas City, MO for some food, drinks and dancing.   Check out the picture of Veronica.... I am one lucky elf!

Leaving the North Pole for KC now.

Success again!!!!

Merry Christmas to all.

I am proud to report that Santa's record is still perfect.  Santa and the reindeer have returned safely to the North Pole to the merriment of us all up here.  After being a little over-served last night several of us elves are paying the piper today.  My buddy Zeke has been worshipping the porcelain gods this morning.  I wish everyone could have seen him doing karaoke to Barry Manilow and Meat Loaf songs all night -- priceless!  Now I can't seem to stop singing, "Two out of three ain't bad" and "Lola, she was a showgirl."  Curse you Zeke.

I hope everyone is having a very merry Christmas!

Santa has left the building!

Hello everyone,

Today was a wild one, but we managed once again to get Santa out on time.   Despite having a little wrap-up work to do, the stressful part of the year is done.  I am really looking forward to some me time.  The boys and I are off to have a couple cocktails to celebrate our success.

Merry Christmas to all.

The big day is here!!!

Hello everyone.

The big day is here, and everything is so hectic.  The lists are all finalized.  Currently, all my fellow employees are loading the sleigh with millions of toys.  I have been on shift for the last 28 hours, and could sure use a nap.  However, there is no rest for the weary.  We will push through until the job is done.

I just got a huge boost as I think I have found a companion for my big trip.  My fingers are crossed, but only time will tell.  She is hotter than a cinnamon candy cane!

I hope you are all enjoying time with friends and family during this joyous holiday!

Sorry to be brief, but my break is over.  There were so many nice children this year!

Crunch time is upon us!

Hello everyone!

I hope with the holiday fast approaching that everyone is doing well.  I am so busy right now.  Sitting on the shelf watching children all day, making sure all the presents are ready to go all night.  During the few spare minutes that I have each day, I have been meeting with Santa to confirm the naughty/nice list.  So much to do and so little time to get it done.  It is definitely go-time!

Sometimes, it can be easy to lose sight of what this time of year actually means with all the hustle and preparation for the big event.  It is important to take a pause every now and then to cherish the things that are truly important in your life.  Appreciate your friends, family and all that you have, and worry a little less about what you don't have.  Make sure to give an extra hug to those you love and show gestures of kindness to all those you encounter.

Just a few words of wisdom from the one on the shelf.

Peace to all,

Virgil

December 16, 2012

Hi, I'm Virgil - one of Santa's many elves.  My job is rewarding but very difficult. Throughout the year, I'm responsible for things like making toys, inventory management and keeping watch over little boys and girls to see who's naughty or nice.

Right now is our busy season and things are just CRAZY!  Today I took a little liberty to look ahead to the not-so-busy season when Santa grants us some much-deserved R&R.  I've just booked a first-class trip for two to paradise!  Having been so busy throughout the year, I haven't had much time for a personal life.  I'm looking for the special lady to join me.  I'm into all sorts of adventure and fun during my downtime. I'm hoping to find a special lady who enjoys the good-life mixed with some mishap and adventure.
